Farm and rural engineering
Gates, cattle yards, dairy sheds and machinery. The metal work that keeps a farm running, fixed properly so you are not back at it next season.
Farm gear takes a hammering, and it usually breaks at the worst possible time. I repair machinery breakdowns, rebuild worn equipment and do the general maintenance that stops things failing in the first place.
Gates and cattle yards get built and repaired, dairy sheds get patched up and reinforced, and anything made of steel that has cracked, bent or worn through can usually be sorted. Where a part has worn out because of how it gets used, I will look at whether it can be built back stronger than it was.
Most of this work happens on the farm rather than in the workshop, because that is where the gear is. I can come to you.
Where I do this work
The workshop is on Mouse Point Road between Culverden and Hanmer Springs, and I take this work right across North Canterbury.
